Finding a Moment of Zen in a Busy World

Look, life is loud. Most of the time, we are just racing from one thing to the next, caffeinated to the teeth on cheap office coffee. Honestly, it is exhausting.
That is why I started drinking tea. I am not talking about the fancy, over-packaged stuff you find in grocery store aisles. I mean real, whole-leaf tea.
Here is the deal: tea does not solve your problems. It will not pay your mortgage or fix your car. But for five minutes, while the water boils and the leaves unfurl, the world stops spinning. It is just you and a mug.
I usually go for a solid Oolong or a simple green tea. It is earthy, clean, and has a nice kick that does not leave you jittery. It is about being present. No ceremony is needed. No special gear. Just a cup, some hot water, and a bit of silence.
If you are feeling fried, give it a shot. It is a small, reliable way to find a little bit of zen in a messy day. It works for me. It might work for you, too.
